Delivery of cultural and leadership education sessions.

We have made a significant investment and developed a partnership with Sport and Life Training (SALT) to deliver their programs to our local sporting clubs at no cost to the club. SALT is dedicated to creating sporting clubs and team environments that cater for both the competitive and personal development needs of young people through to older adults. Strengthening these clubs to create environments that ensure physical and emotional safety for everyone, fostering positive, competitive, resilient, and connected communities.

SALT Sport and Life Training could not provide the services we do to local sporting clubs without the support we receive from Community Bank Inner East. In response to current issues relating to violence towards women, we have developed two courses called ‘Champions of Change’ and ‘Allies of Change’ to equip local sporting clubs to become communities of inclusion and respect and to play their role in necessary cultural transformation. We have developed a new Positive Sports Parenting Self-guided course that is now being mandated by a number of junior sporting leagues. All of these developments have been enabled through the support we receive from Community Bank Inner East. Sport & Life Training
