Transport for people with disabilities
Burke and Beyond supports people with disabilities to be actively involved in their communities. They provide participants the opportunity to develop their skills in a range of areas including: vocational, independent living, social and communication skills. We provided a grant to purchase a new van to transport participants to various community activities.
The van will be used to transport our participants five days a week to access activities such as volunteering for meals on wheels as well as attending recreational activities such as bowling, trampoline, swimming, and a variety of other activities of their choice in the Boroondara area.
